The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program helped the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities to organize hearings on Ukraine's implementation of the EU's Fourth Energy Package called 'Clean Energy for All Europeans,' in which many stakeholders took part. The committee hearings will result in the recommendations and the creating of a working group.
USAID RADA: Next Generation Program supported a hotline for Ukrainians who have fled the war to Dnipro and were seeking help. For half a year, over 5,000 displaced persons have appealed to the hotline. Operators advise displaced persons on how they can reach the relevant centers and services to receive humanitarian, psychological, or legal support, to find information on temporary shelter, etc.
With the support of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, the Verkhovna Rada's Research Service held its first online training on "Key Aspects of Parliamentary Ethics" on September 13-14. 34 participants attended the training session, including MPs of Ukraine, their assistants, and employees of the VRU Secretariat.

In August, the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program prepared 70 banners, according to the updated style of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and provided them to all 23 parliamentary committees. Branded visual products help the Verkhovna Rada increase its visibility among Ukrainians and build public trust around this image.
