The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program helped the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities to organize hearings on Ukraine's implementation of the EU's Fourth Energy Package called 'Clean Energy for All Europeans.'
International partners, the public, and representatives of the government, agencies, and departments in the energy sector attended the hearings. This wide range of stakeholders allowed for a comprehensive discussion of the possibilities of implementing the EU's Fourth Energy Package and establishing cooperation in this area.
The committee hearings will result in the recommendations and the creating of a working group. The Committee calls on public members to submit their proposals for the recommendations. The Committee plans to consider them at one of its next meetings.
