USAID RADA Next Generation is a five-year initiative (2021-2026), implemented by the “Internews Ukraine” NGO, that aims to advance the “next generation” of reforms that will enable the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU) to become a modern, effective institution that promotes accountability and democratic development in Ukraine.
With the support of USAID RADA Next Generation, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech organized a discussion titled “Open Verkhovna Rada: Toward International Standards in the Time of War.” The Program continues to support parliamentary committees in fostering openness and engaging stakeholders to ensure transparent governance.
With the support of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, the VRU on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights, alongside the Rehabilitation Forces of Ukraine, hosted the International Forum “Veterans - The Path Home” in Lviv, attended by over 450 participants. The Program facilitates public discussions on critical social issues, engaging diverse stakeholders, including international partners, to improve legislation and address key challenges.

With the support of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Digital Transformation held public consultations on the draft law on the Unified Social Sector Information System. The program helps parliamentary committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine engage stakeholders in discussions of socially important issues.
The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program organized a three-day workshop on "Post-Legislative Scrutiny (PLS) as an Effective Tool for Legislative Assessment" attended by representatives of all parliamentary committees. The Program strengthens the expertise of the committees and builds institutional capacity to conduct PLS projects.
