Over 5,000 Ukrainians displaced by Russia’s full-scale war used our hotline in Dnipro to get help! For half a year, the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program supported a hotline for Ukrainians who have fled the war to Dnipro and were seeking assistance.
Our operators advised displaced persons on how they could reach the relevant centers and services to receive humanitarian, psychological or legal support, find information on temporary shelter, etc.
The most frequently asked questions by Ukrainians were about registering for the SpivDiya Hub and where to get food boxes and financial and humanitarian aid.
As MP Roman Kaptelov noted, due to the war and the influx of displaced persons, there is an urgent need to "moderate efforts in the region and help communities work with Ukrainians displaced by Russia's full-scale war."
The RADA: Next Generation Program helps Ukrainian parliamentarians to adapt their forms of interaction and communication with constituents to effectively respond to the existing challenges, including those caused by the war.
Before, the Program supported a hotline for displaced Ukrainians in the Pavlohrad district of Dnipropetrovsk oblast, where operators processed more than 2400 appelas in six months.
