The program seeks to help the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine improve the budget process, in particular, by establishing a parliamentary budget office. With the support of the USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program, the VRU Temporary Special Commission on IDPs' Rights Protection is organizing a conference on June 17 to coordinate international assistance and domestic fiscal policy to maximize support for IDPs. On May 15, the parliamentary-municipal forum dialogue “Housing for Internally Displaced Persons” starts. It is organized by the VRU Temporary Special Commission of on Protection of the Rights of IDPs and Other Persons with the support of the USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program. Participants will discuss the legislation to provide housing for IDPs, dialogue with municipalities, financial and credit mechanisms for implementing the right to housing for IDPs, etc.
The forum “Veterans - the Path Home” will be held on May 14 in Lutsk at the initiative of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights and MPs Iryna Konstankevych and Taras Tarasenko. The event is supported by the USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program.
