Forum “Veterans - the Path Home”

The forum “Veterans - the Path Home” will be held on May 14 in Lutsk at the initiative of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights and MPs Iryna Konstankevych and Taras Tarasenko. The event is supported by the USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program.

The purpose of the forum is to develop proposals on how to improve the state policy of supporting veterans and women veterans and their families, families of missing and captured servicemen and women.

We invite MPs, representatives of state authorities, local self-government, public and private sectors to participate.

The forum will include three discussion platforms:

• State veteran policy: what is the current state and prospects for development?
• How can we ensure well-being on the way to returning veterans home?
• How can an inclusive and barrier-free community for female and male veterans be created?

The USAID "RADA Next Generation" Program helps the Parliament and its members engage various stakeholders to develop joint solutions to socially significant problems, including those under martial law.
