In March, with USAID RADA: Next Generation Program support, VRU Education Center held three online parliamentary lessons in the Lviv region. More than 6,000 schoolchildren took part in them, and they were also able to talk with Mykola Kniazhytskyi, MP from the local 116th constituency.
With the support of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, the Education Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine organized an online international parliamentary class about Ukraine's and Turkey's partnership on March 22. Ukrainian MP, ambassadors and about 200 students participated in the lesson.
On March 17, the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program organized an online meeting during which Sergiu Galitchi, an expert of WFD, presented his study "Evaluation of European best practices of cooperation and consultation of national parliaments with governments within the legislative cycle." More than 100 VRU, government, and organizations representatives participated in the event.
On March 15, with USAID RADA: Next Generation Program support, VRU Education Center held an online parliamentary lesson in Dnipropetrovsk region. More than 200 schoolchildren took part in it, and they were also able to talk with Volodymyr Zakharchenko, MP from the local 31s constituency.
With the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program's support, the NGO "Agency of Education Policy Development" (AEPD) and the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine conducted workshops on the teaching methodology of the course "Our Parliament" for students of middle school. 112 teachers successfully completed this program.

USAID RADA Next Generation is a five-year initiative (2021-2026), implemented by the “Internews Ukraine” NGO, that aims to advance the “next generation” of reforms that will enable the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU) to become a modern, effective institution that promotes accountability and democratic development in Ukraine.
