International parliamentary lesson "Japan in support of Ukraine"

More than 230 students in Ukraine and abroad took part in the lesson "Japan in support of Ukraine"!

With the support of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, the Education Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine organized an online international parliamentary class about Ukraine's and Japan's partnership on March 9.

The special guests and partners made focus on the following:

• political and parliamentary system in Japan;
• interparliamentary and diplomatic relations between Japan and Ukraine;
• Tokyo's active position in support of Kyiv in the russia's brutal war;
• Japanese sanctions pressure on the kremlin and aid to Ukraine in wartime.

There were Ukrainian MP Olha Koval, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan Serhiy Korsunskyi among the guests and speakers, who actively answered the questions of schoolchildren.
