USAID RADA Next Generation is a five-year initiative (2021-2026), implemented by the “Internews Ukraine” NGO, that aims to advance the “next generation” of reforms that will enable the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU) to become a modern, effective institution that promotes accountability and democratic development in Ukraine.
On April 25, with USAID RADA: Next Generation Program support, VRU Education Center held an online parliamentary lesson in the Lviv region. More than 500 schoolchildren took part in them, and they were also able to talk with Nataliia Pipa, MP from the local 115th constituency.
USAID RADA: Next Generation Program facilitated the study visit of the Ukrainian Parliament’s delegation to the parliament of Austria. During the visit, the Secretary-General of the Ukrainian Parliament met with his counterpart Harald Dossi. Their meeting resulted in tightening cooperation between the parliaments.

On April 10, the VRU Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional, and Urban Development discussed the results of the post-legislative scrutiny report on the cooperation of territorial communities. The research was conducted under the support of the USAID Rada: Next Generation Program and Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
On March 27-28, the USAID RADA: Next Generation зrogram, in cooperation with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, conducted a training on "Approximation of Ukrainian Legislation to EU Law: Practical Aspects for the VRU," which 40 representatives of the VRU Secretariat attended.

On March 29, 2023, USAID RADA: Next Generation Program presented the results of the conducted Legislative Quality Index and discussed it with MPs, experts and the International Parliamentary Union (IPU) at the International Parliamentary Technical Assistance Coordination Meeting. The Index demonstrates that Ukraine's Parliament maintains a high level of institutional capacity.
