With USAID RADA: Next Generation support, MP Viktoriia Hryb recently met with voters from the Shchastia community in the occupied Luhansk Oblast, engaging representatives of the local authority. Participants discussed the elimination of certain benefits and subsidies, compensation for damaged property, and the nationalization of property in the occupied territories.

On April 18, USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program organized an expert discussion on the results of Legislative Quality Index with the participation of the representatives of the Parliament, academic environment and civil society. The Program's experts calculate the Legislative Quality Index every parliamentary session, which allows to develop recommendations for improving the work of the Parliament.

The USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program supported Ruslan Stefanchuk's working visit to Strasbourg, where he spoke at a PACE meeting on April 16. This is the first ever speech of the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament on this international platform. VRU speaker raised critical issues for Ukraine during meetings with the CoE President, the PACE Secretary General and the CoE Commissioner for Human Rights.
