The VRU Committee on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights, together with its partners, held a forum entitled "Veterans - the Way Home: Community Capacities to Protect the Rights and Meet the Needs of Veterans." More than 200 participants attended the event, including the leadership of the VRU and ministries, key veterans' and civil society organizations, and donors. The event was supported by USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program.
To support and promote democracy in Ukraine, USAID Mission to Ukraine has provided essential equipment to ensure operations can continue during power outages. In 2024, USAID RADA: Next Generation donated five charging stations to the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program helped the VRU Educational Center to organize an event on the occasion of its 5th anniversary. The event focused on the achievements and plans of the Educational Center, as well as further cooperation with the Program. More than 120 people attended the event, including the leadership of the VRU and its Secretariat, MPs, international donors and active youth.
The USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program held a training session for participants of its grant initiative, "Citizens and Parliament: Democratic Representation and Effective Interaction under Martial Law." During the training, the participants presented the first results of their projects, and the Program experts held sessions on financial, reporting, and communication management, as well as public consultations.

The USAID "RADA Next Generation" Program and the WFD organized a public discussion on strengthening the role of the Parliament in the budget process on July 12. Over 80 participants joined the event, namely MPs, representatives of the leadership, committees and the Secretariat of the VRU, the Ministry of Finance, the Accounting Chamber, international experts, donors and the civil society.
The USAID "RADA Next Generation" Program facilitated to organize the visit to USA of the VRU Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk for the NATO Parliamentary Summit. According to the VRU Speaker, "the main purpose of the visit is to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine in its fight against the russian aggressor."
