Supporting VRU institutions to ensure uninterrupted operation

To support and promote democracy in Ukraine, USAID Mission to Ukraine has provided essential equipment to ensure operations can continue during power outages. In 2024, USAID RADA: Next Generation donated five charging stations to the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

These charging stations will enable the Research Service to consistently provide the Verkhovna Rada with high-quality analytics and professional training for MPs, their assistants, and parliamentary staff, without any interruptions.

"The Research Service studies public issues, provides the Parliament with up-to-date information and analysis, conducts regular trainings, and communicates with international partners — all of which require continuous daily work. Therefore, power outages posed a significant challenge for us, as they did for all institutions and the entire country. We are grateful to our partners, particularly USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, for helping us overcome these challenges and ensuring our uninterrupted work," said Lesia Vaolevska, Head of the VRU Research Service.
