The VRU Committee on Youth and Sports, with the support of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, conducted an analysis of the effectiveness of the application of certain provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On the Basic Principles of Youth Policy.” The Program experts adapted the British methodology of post-legislative scrutiny to Ukrainian realities and tested it in cooperation with the Committee to improve the legislation and strengthen the oversight function of the committees.

USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program organized a study visit to the Council of Europe and PACE in Strasbourg, France, in order to develop partnerships for institutional strengthening of the Ukrainian parliament. As a result, VRU and PACE representatives have put in place a roadmap for further cooperation. Read more in our success story.
This report presents empirical data on the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the period of the 10th session (from September 5, 2023, to February 5, 2024). The study reveals the main facts and quantitative indicators of the Verkhovna Rada's work, which allows to record the main trends of the parliament's activity and its implementation of the legislative function in the conditions of the full-scale invasion.
