Natalya Pedchenko

With her successful experience in managing many of her organization’s projects, Ms. Pedchenko puts the mission of the NGO Internews Ukraine into action. She also ensures effective communication, successful fundraising, and compliance with the legislation and regulations of international donors. Moreover, she is key to Internews Ukraine’s steady development, as well as its organizational and financial stability.

Andriy Kulakov

Has 18+ years of experience in developing and implementing projects (with a budget of over 500,000 euros) for Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan funded by the EU, USAID, World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP, MATRA, CIDA, EU member state embassies, and other donor institutions.
Mr. Kulakov has helped develop communication strategies for the EU Delegation to Belarus, as well as promoting European integration in Ukraine, along with Public Administration Reform (via the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine). In 2017, he developed and implemented a USAID project on communicating public health and energy reforms in Ukraine. Mr. Kulakov provides communication support to the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program.

Kostiantyn Romashko

Mr. Romashko has been working in the spheres of media and EU-Ukraine relations for over 12 years. He has worked as an analyst and a manager in different projects, including Media Support for the EU Delegation to Ukraine and Building Europe in Ukraine, Stronger Together.
Mr. Romashko manages the Internews Ukraine analytics team and the organization’s analytical projects, including the online publication UkraineWorld, which provides analysis of the main events and processes around the country for international audiences.

Volodymyr Yermolenko

Mr. Yermolenko has implemented over 30 analytics and communication projects related to information, media literacy, the European identity of Ukraine, EU-Ukraine relations, reforms in Ukraine, Ukrainian media discourse, and the fights against disinformation and Russian aggression.
He is the editor-in-chief of the UkraineWorld online platform, which provides information on events in Ukraine to international audiences. Moreover, he is one of the co-founders of the Voice of War: Veterans’ Stories project, the editor-in-chief of several publications, including Words and Wars: Ukraine Fighting Kremlin Propaganda and Re-Vision of History: Kremlin Historical Propaganda and Ukraine, a book of essays by intellectuals titled Ukraine in Histories and Stories, as well as many other Internews Ukraine publications, including media literacy guides.
Volodymyr Yermolenko is a Ukrainian philosopher, author, and journalist. He has been awarded the following book prizes: the Myroslav Popovych Prize in 2021, the Petro Mohyla Prize in 2021, the Yuri Shevelov Prize in 2018, and the Ukraine Book of the Year award in 2018.
He is the author of numerous articles on Ukraine, Europe, and international relations. Texts and comments by Mr. Yermolenko have been published by Le Monde, Atlantic Council, Financial Times, Newsweek, EUObserver, Euractiv, and Die Welt. He often provides comment on events in Ukraine to foreign media outlets, including New York Times, The Economist, Le Monde, Radio France International, France 24, Süddeutsche Zeitung, La Croix, and Mediapart.

Diana Ishchenko

Ms. Ishchenko has 10+ years of experience in strategic communications, Internet marketing, and complex creative campaigns for social change.
She is responsible for brand management, development and implementation of social media strategies, email marketing, and reporting and marketing analytics at Internews Ukraine. She was involved in the organization’s rebranding, as well as updating its internal and external communications.
Ms. Ishchenko has participated in developing and implementing communication strategies for Ukrainian and international projects including #PrisonersVoice, ARTIFAKE, TrollessUA, Fit Your Life in a Suitcase, Propagandarium, Re-Vision of History, and Ukraine in Histories and Stories.
She also supervised identity development for the #2022БезТютюну (2022 Without Tobacco) advocacy campaign to encourage Ukraine’s Parliament to strengthen anti-smoking legislation. The campaign achieved its goal, as at the end of 2021, the Rada passed legislative proposal No. 4358.
Ms. Ishchenko provides advisory services to Ukrainian and international editorial offices on SMM and launching promo campaigns with Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and TikTok.

Dmytro Zinchuk

Mr. Zinchuk has over 5 years of experience in managing and coordinating projects. Mr. Zinchuk has organized about 100 events and trainings for regional journalists, the Mediazlit online school for aspiring journalists; the Academy of Public Activism to train civic activists on communications; the Fit Your Life in a Suitcase public interactive installation in Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa; and took part in the development of the Reforms Guide, a book that helps readers understand 17 key reforms in Ukraine.

Kateryna Yudina

Ms. Yudina has over 5 years of experience in managing and coordinating projects. She has organized trainings for journalists and youth in both offline and online formats, as well as events attended by 200+ participants and international travel and presentations. She also has strong familiarity with the Ukrainian media market.
Ms. Yudina managed the EU Study Days educational project from the EU Delegation to Ukraine (implemented by the Centre for Ukrainian Reform Education), where in addition to organizing events across Ukraine, she was involved in developing a network of 1000+ participants and managed the transition of the project into an online format.
She has experience in managing projects on communication for socially important issues. She was involved in the 2019 publication of Ukraine in Histories and Stories, a book of essays by Ukrainian intellectuals about Ukraine for international audiences.
Ms. Yudina implemented Audience Understanding and Digital Support projects supporting Ukrainian independent media through mini-grants and trainings. As part of the project Diversity Enriches: Highlighting the Contribution of Ethnic, Religious Minorities and LGBT People to Ukrainian Society, funded by Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, she and her project team organized trainings and a scholarship program for Ukrainian journalists, launched the #RighttoBeYourself hashtag campaign on social media, coordinated the publication of several articles, and produced the documentary Mountain Breeze about Crimean Tatars.
