Internews Ukraine Representative (Brussels / Washington DC / Canada)

Internews Ukraine is seeking an organization's representative based in Brussels, Washington D.C., or Canada to strengthen its international presence, build strategic partnerships, and expand cooperation with donors, institutions, and allied organizations.   

The role focuses on long-term relationship management, partnership development, institutional networking, and identifying strategic collaboration opportunities with international stakeholders. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and establish contacts with relevant donors, institutions, international organizations, and strategic partners in the EU (Brussels) / USA (Washington DC) / Canada; 
  • Initiate and develop strategic partnerships and long-term cooperation opportunities; 
  • Monitor donor priorities, policy discussions, and funding opportunities relevant to Ukraine, media, democracy, and strategic communications; 
  • Represent Internews Ukraine at meetings, conferences, forums, and networking events; 
  • Strengthen Internews Ukraine's visibility and positioning within international donor and policy communities; 
  • Support organizational outreach, partnership development, and strategic expansion efforts. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven experience in partnership development, international cooperation, external relations, or donor engagement; 
  • Established professional network within international donor, policy, media development, or governmental communities; 
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills; 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; 
  • Understanding of the international development, media, democracy, or strategic communications sectors; 
  • Higher education in international relations, political science, communications, public policy, or related fields; 
  • Fluent English (professional working proficiency required); Ukrainian is an advantage; 
  • High level of independence, diplomacy, and strategic thinking. 

ADVANTAGES:

  • Experience working with media development, democracy support, or strategic communications projects; 
  • Experience facilitating international consortiums or institutional cooperation.
