State Property Management Reform

Transparency in Action: Corporate Reform, Privatization and Public Control

NGO "Internews-Ukraine" with the support of USAID/UKaid project "State-Owned Enterprise Reform Activity" (SOERA) conducted an educational program "Transparency in Action: Corporate Reform, Privatization and Public Control" for journalists and civil society activists.

Why the reform matters

The reform of state and municipal property management and privatization is not just about legislative changes. It's a path to creating a transparent and effective system of state property management that directly affects the life of every Ukrainian.

Thanks to the reform, the quality of public services improves - from transportation and postal services to energy supply, while the development of privatized enterprises creates new employment opportunities and development for local communities. The updated management system also helps reduce corruption risks and ensures more efficient use of taxpayers' money.
