Support for committees

Analytical support of VRU committees in alignment of Ukrainian legislation with EU acquis

Analytical support to the Verkhovna Rada committees in the process of legislative approximation to EU law is critical to ensuring that national regulations are in line with EU standards.

Partners and experts of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program support parliamentary committees by conducting analytical research, training and consultations, as well as providing professional expertise that allows them to better understand complex EU legal norms and adapt them to the Ukrainian context. This contributes to the quality of the legislative process and ensures the consistency of reforms aimed at Ukraine's integration into the European legal framework.

The analytical support of the Program helps the Verkhovna Rada committees to act more efficiently and effectively in the face of complex and constantly changing EU requirements. Committees get access to detailed information on European directives, regulations and best practices in their implementation, which is important for avoiding mistakes and shortcomings in legislative initiatives. This helps to ensure that Ukrainian laws are more in line with European standards, which is one of the key conditions for Ukraine's further integration into the EU.

In addition, the expert support provided by the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program contributes to the professional growth of MPs and committee staff, strengthening the institutional stability of the Ukrainian Parliament. All of this not only accelerates the process of harmonizing Ukrainian legislation with EU law, but also increases confidence in Ukraine as a reliable partner in the international arena.
