With the support of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, two more meetings were held this week with MPs to discuss various aspects of Ukraine's recovery and its qualitative democratic transformation.
It is important for the Program to maintain active interaction between voters and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine under martial law and to engage citizens in the legislative process. Public discussions of socially important issues in wartime are urgent to learn about citizens' needs and address them promptly.
The International Republican Institute (IRI) continued its series of meetings with MPs in their constituencies by organizing a discussion for Yulia Ovchynnykova with Vinnytsia youth.
"This is an opportunity to meet offline and discuss youth policy development, youth participation in politics, and the processes of Ukraine's recovery, to get feedback and outline the problems that concern this generation of young people," shared her impressions of the meeting MP Yulia Ovchynnykova.
Also, within the grant initiative "Citizens and Parliament" of the RADA: Next Generation Program, Active Community continues to conduct an open dialogue with MPs on how to engage society in restoring Ukraine. This week they talked to Oleksandr Aliksiichuk (video of the conversation).
