For the first time, with the support of USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held a training session for parliamentarians and their assistants on January 23-25. The three-day online session "Activities of a member of parliament and his team: today's challenges" was attended by 35 participants who discussed:
Participants focused on the challenges they faced during martial law. In particular, they strategized with the trainers how to build interaction with voters, mass media, civil society, authorities, and self-government bodies and how best to communicate with them. MPs and their assistants shared their experiences and discussed overcoming potential crisis situations.
The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program assists the Research Service Training Center in developing and conducting training sessions for MPs and their teams. The trainings aim to improve and intensify the interaction of parliamentarians with voters and other stakeholders.
