The participants also did practical tasks, specifically simulated a crisis and developed communications strategies with various target groups (voters, mass media, civil society institutions, and state and local self-government bodies). Moreover, they created crisis communication plans, which MPs' teams could use for a quick and coordinated reaction to difficult situations in the constituency and eliminating their consequences.
The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program and the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will jointly conduct the first pilot training "Crisis Communications in the constituency" for MPs and their assistants on February 15-17. The main goal of the trainings is to improve and intensify the interaction of parliamentarians with voters and other stakeholders.
