What is Parliament's role in Ukrainian democracy development?

Discussed the role of parliament in the development of Ukrainian democracy at the forum in Stockholm!

On May 15, Tetyana Bibik, Deputy Director of the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, participated in the panel “Resilient Democracy for a Successful Reconstruction of Ukraine” at 2023 Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development, organized by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

Tetyana spoke about the decisive role of the Parliament as the main guarantor to sustain democracy in Ukraine. She also talked about the importance of continuing reforms to meet all the requirements to enter the European Union and the parliamentary agenda in this process and how the decisions of the Parliament need to support the recovery process.

The discussion panel at the Stockholm Forum was organized by International IDEA and moderated by their program coordinator Yulia Shypilova.
