On January 24, the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program held another strategic session for VRU's Research Service employees regarding developing their information and analytical products. Thirty participants discussed what materials and products are prepared by foreign parliamentary research centers and what experience and best practices can be adopted.
In particular, the trainers emphasized the IFLA key principles, which state:
Besides recommendations, the participants had the opportunity to enhance their practical skills. During an interactive group session, they considered particular examples of the Research Service products, determined the product's customer, purpose, and structure, what distinguished it from others, and how it could be improved.
Based on the knowledge gained, the employees of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine developed a strategic vision of their products to increase their usefulness for the work of the Parliament.
