RANG trains activists to implement parliamentary education initiatives

On June 13-14, the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program conducted a "Parliamentary Civic Education" training for educators, civil society organizations, and activists. The 25 participants strengthened their skills in organizing and conducting parliamentary civic education campaigns and events.

The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program develops parliamentary education in Ukraine to engage more voters in the legislative process and deepen their understanding of the principles of democracy and parliamentarism.

During the interactive and group tasks, the participants:

  1. got acquainted with the best practices of developing and implementing parliamentary civic education programs;
  2. learned about innovative tools and available methodological manuals;
  3. practiced planning educational events and developing information and training products for them.

On July 4-6, the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program will conduct another training for the public on its participation in the work of the Parliament, the legislative process, and advocacy. To register, please follow this link.
