In cooperation with the Ukrainian Parliament, USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program organized a study visit to the Chamber of Deputies of Italy for five staffers of Verkhovna Rada's Secretariat and Research Service.
The Ukrainian delegation met with the Secretary General of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy, Fabrizio Castaldi, and representatives of the Italian Parliamentary Research Service, the Office for Relations with the European Union, and the IT Department. The participants learned in detail how both chambers of Parliament work and interact with the government to ensure high-quality policy-making and effective policy implementation.

The Ukrainian delegates also presented the specifics of the Verkhovna Rada's activities, particularly during martial law, and enlisted the support of their Italian colleagues for further interparliamentary cooperation.
The "RADA: Next Generation" Program helps the Verkhovna Rada to learn the best practices of European national parliaments and deepen its partnership with them. The knowledge will help strengthen the Ukrainian Parliament's capacity, including ensuring the successful European integration of Ukraine.
