Ensuring dialog between voters and MPs under martial law

Within the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, the International Republican Institute held another meeting with Ukrainian voters on August 1. The event was held in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast with the participation of MP Oksana Savchuk and representatives of the cultural sector.

The purpose of the meetings is to discuss with MPs the issues relevant to voters and consider their potential legislative solutions. In this way, the RADA: Next Generation Program seeks to engage citizens in the lawmaking process and public policy determination.

"The RADA: Next Generation Program aims to ensure that MPs are accessible to voters. In total, we are holding ten such events across Ukraine. And it is important for us to focus on the key issues that exist in the constituencies and the country," said moderator of the event Yulia Vusenko.
