Our internship program at VRU Research Service started

On May 15, a youth internship project at the VRU Research Service started within the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program. Yesterday, the three selected candidates met with the head and staff of the Research Service and discussed expectations and plans for future cooperation.

The interns will study the specifics of the Parliamentary Research Service's activities for six months and join its departments. In particular, they will:

  1. participate in working meetings and perform operational tasks;
  2. practice preparing information briefs and analytical documents;
  3. assist in the work of the Training Unit;
  4. attend lectures and workshops from the USAID RADA: Next Generation Program.

The Research Service staff congratulated the participants on the start of the program and wished them fruitful cooperation. They said they were ready to share the best practices and tools for the institution's work. The participants said they were honored to participate in the internship program and receive such experienced supervisors.

The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program organizes and funds this project. The main goal of the youth internship program is to train professional staff who will be able to strengthen the capacity of the VRU Research Service institutionally and expertly and enhance its ability to provide analytical support to Ukraine's Parliament.
