On October 24-25, USAID RADA: Next Generation Program held the first pilot training "Policy-making process and the full cycle of legislative scrutiny". 18 MPs' assistants and representatives of parliamentary committees and ministries participated.
USAID RADA: Next Generation Program and Westminster Foundation for Democracy has recently developed the training "Policy-making process and the full cycle of legislative scrutiny."
It includes theoretical knowledge about the importance of the policy cycle and legislative scrutiny, as well as practical cases. Participants in groups developed policies on challenging issues, studied international experiences, and modeled the activities of stakeholders at various stages of the policy cycle.
At the end of the training, willing participants completed a questionnaire. The participants noted in the survey that they highly appreciated the quality and relevance of the training and would recommend it to their colleagues.
