RANG expands international partnerships of the Ukrainian parliamentary research service

The USAID program "RADA: Next Generation" promotes the cooperation of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the Parliament of Austria and ensures the participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the "Day of Parliamentary Research" seminar held on June 26 in Vienna.

The Program supports employees of the VRU Research Service in integrating into the global community of parliamentary services, sharing experience and building partnerships for joint projects and inter-parliamentary dialogue.

During the seminar, the Ukrainian delegation learned about the latest methodologies and tools of parliamentary research. In particular, the discussions touched upon several topics:

• the current state of parliamentary research in the world;
• possibilities and prospects of artificial intelligence;
• interaction of science and politics;
• involvement of non-specialists in research on law-making;
• the importance of representation, democratic culture and public perception.

USAID RADA: Next Generation Program consistently supports the Research Service of the VRU and the development of its capabilities. Previously, the Program organized a study visit to the Parliament of Austria, so participation in this event ensures the sustainability of cooperation in research activities.
