Supporting VRU in developing and implementing Strategy for Innovative Parliament

The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program, together with its partners from the American Councils for International Education, ensured the participation of two representatives of the VRU Directorate of computerized systems in the seminar "Artificial Intelligence in Parliaments" held on July 3-4 at the Zeppelin University (Germany).

The knowledge and experience gained in the field of artificial intelligence will allow the Verkhovna Rada to implement innovative practices in its work. The USAID RADA: Next Generation Program helps the parliament find digital solutions to improve efficiency and automate work processes.

The Program also builds international partnerships of the VRU Directorate of computerized systems to share best practices. During the seminar, participants learned about:

  • the use of artificial intelligence for the legislative process;
  • recommendations for implementing artificial intelligence to automate parliamentary processes;
  • experience in transforming parliaments with the help of artificial intelligence;
  • role of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) and citizen participation in the legislative process.

The event was organized by The Open Government Institute (TOGI), Zeppelin University in cooperation with the Hellenic OCR Team.
