On August 29, the Civil Network "OPORA/Rivne" presented the results of public consultations with members of Ukraine's Parliament!
They are implementing their project "Practical Analytics for Parliament" within the framework of the USAID RADA: Next Generation grant initiative, which aims to:
- to develop interaction and cooperation between the Members of the Parliament of Ukraine and voters within the constituency or region under martial law;
- to involve citizens in the decision-making process and the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine;
- communicate reforms, study social problems, and hold public consultations at the regional level.
Graduates of the Academy of Practical Analytics held three consultations with MPs on actual voter issues:
- on the problems with housing for Ukrainians IDPs with MP Oleksandr Aliksiichuk;
- on the attitude of citizens to the legalization of medical cannabis with MP Oleksandr Kovalchuk;
- on psychological support for military families in small communities with MP Solomiya Bobrovska.
How activists of the Civil Network "OPORA/Rivne" prepared and organized public consultations with parliamentarians and what it resulted in - read in our partners' material.
