In order to gain experience from countries that have already underwent the EU accession process or obtained candidate status, USAID "Rada: Next Generation" Program organizes a series of online meetings on the role of the Parliament in the European integration process and the transformation the legislature needs to undertake.
During the online meeting, which took place on September 15, 2022, representatives of the Parliamentary Institute of the Czech Parliament spoke about the main challenges for the Parliament in the context of the European integration; the role of the Parliament in the process of harmonization of national legislation with the EU standards; and the importance and subtleties of parliamentary diplomacy and communication with the public.
