In this study, Sergiu Galitchi analyzes the constitutional, legal, and organizational frameworks of the lawmaking process in five European countries: Ireland, Georgia, Latvia, the Czech Republic, and Great Britain (Scotland). The author considers the lawmaking process according to the following criteria:
Planning legislation and government-parliamentary interaction and coordination is an important point. It is also crucial for the European Union's review of draft laws and amendments for compliance. A large number of European countries in the period before joining the EU adopted a separate law on parliamentary-governmental cooperation. Thus, it becomes even more relevant for Ukraine who has recently acquiree a EU candidate statuse. Thus, it becomes even more relevant for Ukraine, which has recently acquired EU candidate status.
