Survey “Citizens and Parliament”. 2 wave

The survey was conducted across Ukraine between February 17 to 26, 2024 by Info Sapiens on behalf of the Center for Insights in Survey Research of the International Republican Institute (IRI) in collaboration with Internews Ukraine within the scope of the USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program.

The survey was conducted through a method of computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) using a random sample of mobile phone numbers. The total sample of 1,637 respondents was comprised of Ukrainian residents aged 18+ and eligible to vote (the sample does not include residents of the occupied territories, where Ukrainian mobile operators do not provide mobile connections, as well as Ukrainians who have moved abroad). The surveyed sample is representative of the population of Ukraine in terms of gender, age and settlement size (the theoretical margin of error does not exceed 2.4%).

The survey includes information about:

  • Parliament Activities and Experience of Interaction;
  • Transparency and Trust;
  • Verkhovna Rada’s Communication Platforms;
  • Public's Engagement with the Verkhovna Rada’s Digital Services;
  • Source and clarity of information for Ukrainian citizens regarding the activities of their People’s Deputies;
  • Communication and Constituent Priorities;
  • Knowledge and criteria of electing a Deputy to Parliament;
  • Activities of People's Deputies in the District and Experience of Interaction;
  • Ukrainian Voters’ Relationship with Political Parties.

You can find all results of the survey in the attached presentation.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact Lesia Khomenko, the research specialist at the International Republican Institute (lkhomenko@iri.org).
