During the roundtable, an assessment of the gender sensitivity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, based on the methodology of European Institute for Gender Equality, will be presented. Insights from the European Parliament and the parliaments of EU member states on implementing gender-sensitive approaches will also be shared.

Format: hybrid (Kyiv and ZOOM platform)
Registration: fill out the form by November 29 (6:00 PM)
We invite MPs of Ukraine, members of European parliaments, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat, international organizations, and experts to participate.
The USAID "RADA: Next Generation" Program supports the Verkhovna Rada in becoming a gender-sensitive parliament, thereby addressing the needs and interests of both men and women. This ensures equal opportunities for all genders in parliamentary activities and representation within its composition and structures. Gender sensitivity enhances the parliament’s efficiency, effectiveness, and legitimacy.
